POSITION DESCRIPTION – THIS IS A FULL TIME IN-OFFICE POSITION

Job Responsibilities

Support the Customer Experience Team by performing a wide range of administrative and customer facing tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Preparing utility, municipal permit, and incentive applications needed for solar and energy storage projects
  • Compiling job information packets for installation crews and filing site photos and documents received after installation.
  • Performing initial quality control checks on incoming contract paperwork from Sales Team
  • Performing front-line phone and e-mail troubleshooting with customers regarding system issues
  • Communicating with external partners (ex. lenders, contractors) to follow up on project-related requests
  • Following up with local building departments to coordinate closing of building and electrical permits
  • Facilitating inter-departmental communication on projects requiring action across teams
  • Utilizing Salesforce CRM, Dropbox, and other platforms to keep customer records up to date
  • Assisting with day to day customer service functions for business as needed (ex. answer and route inbound calls)

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivation to consistently provide the highest level of responsiveness to both internal and external teams
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to changing incentives and regulations regarding solar
  • Effective organizational skills in prioritizing workflow and multi-tasking
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
  • Customer support experience preferred (1+ years)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce customer database use and Solar industry a major plus
